I remember the manager of the B Dalton bookstore became a friend of mine (she advertised in the Zephyr) and one day as I went straight to the JFK assassination section, she chuckled and laughed, “Have you ever considered broadening your literary interests?” It was a fair point, and she was right. ![]() I gobbled them up as soon as they hit the shelves. “The Men Who Killed Kennedy.” “Rush to Judgment,” “The Other Oswald.” And so many more. I bought every book on the subject, and watched every television program that was dedicated to the topic. I was a dyed-in-the wool JFK Conspiracy buff for decades. In one case, I decided my conspiratorial beliefs were simply wrong. After so many decades I’ve come to grips with two of my favorite obsessions.
